ICRA Training
Construction Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) Training
Best Practices in Occupied Facilities
Inadequate procedures during an occupied healthcare facility construction project can cause fatalities if contaminants are released into the environment. Lethal pathogens trapped above ceilings, behind walls or under floors, can infiltrate patient and staff environments via HVAC systems, foot traffic, and other conduits if the proper precautions are not taken.
The Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights is taking aggressive action regarding this issue, and is training its carpenters to become highly trained to contain pathogens, protect patients and perform work without disrupting operations.
