The 16th Annual Carpenters’ Christmas for Kids

The Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters (MRCC), under the leadership of Mike Jackson, Executive Secretary/Treasurer, hosted their Sixteenth Annual Carpenters’ Christmas for Kids holiday party for the children of Spain Dual School in Detroit, Friday, December 21. The MRCC invites local dignitaries and media to the event to provide the children with a memorable morning while also helping establish role models and expanding the students’ vision for the future. Over the years the carpenters have established a text book fund, replaced the dance floor in the performing arts center, helped send the student band to Africa and most recently funded the Matador Boutique, offering school uniforms and supplies to those who need it.
