Volunteers from Carpenters Union Local 1004 and the Greater Lansing Labor Council started building bleachers at the new Miracle League baseball diamond in DeWitt Township’s Valley Farms Park.

The new baseball diamond has rubberized fielding for those in wheelchairs and walkers, giving children with disabilities a chance to participate in the time-honored pastime of baseball.
